Rhys Adams

I studied photography at Derby College gaining qualifications in Studio Photography, Photography Techniques and Photoshop Techniques. Whilst I am no where near a professional, I enjoy taking my Canon 7d SLR to various places, in particular derelict buildings. My favourite place is the Friargate GNR Warehouse in Derby.

I use Lightroom within my job on a daily basis, along with Illustrator and InDesign and I try not to do too much with my photos adjustment wise.

I am trying to get into doing more and more timelapse videos using my gopro and/or iPhone to create these. I take photos on a daily basis for my business Cocoon Vehicles Ltd who specialise im Short Term Cars, I try and take these to the nicer places in and around Derby, to photograph them. I use Animoto to publish them on Vimeo and YouTube, as its quick, easy and looks professional.

I get a lot of help with my work, from my father-in-law and good friend Merv Spencer of Field Photographic, who recommended for me to join FStoppers. I loved the Vegas video.
