Robert Chirileanu
From the nostalgic clicks of family film cameras to the epic captures of today, my journey into the world of photography began as a child, but it wasn't until the age of 17, mentored by Stelian Pavalache, that my passion truly ignited.
Transitioning from a portrait-focused studio in Bucharest to the natural canvas of Vatra Dornei, I've embraced landscapes and food photography. A memorable shoot with Antena 3's stars marked my career's highlight, while a humorous incident with Siemens Romania's CFO showcased the unexpected adventures of photography.
My style is deeply personal; I dive into the souls of those I photograph, revealing unseen facets of their personas. Photography has been my sanctuary, helping me navigate life's challenges and the constant struggle with the cost of gear. Inspired by luminaries like Pavalache, Antony Armstrong-Jones, and Joey Lawrence, I favor Rembrandt lighting to sculpt my subjects' stories.
My aspiration is to capture the essence of diverse civilizations with my lens, seeking nostalgia and profound emotion in every shot. Photography is not just my profession; it's the medium through which I explore the depth of human experience.
