I always had a camera of some kind around as a child, but never took photography seriously. Even as an adult, the only cameras I ever owned were various Sony Cybershots. It wasn't until 2019 that I decided to pursue photography seriously and bought a Sony A7II mirrorless camera with a 55mm Zeiss lens. I used my GI Bill to earn a Bachelor of Graphic Arts in Photography, and now write and provide photos for a monthly motorsports column in the Porsche Club of America's magazine Panorama.
You will find me at every race on the IMSA calendar with my cameras and a notepad, capturing the action on the track with my lens and my words. Shooting motorsports is a demanding profession and one that will humble you whenever you think you have things figured out, and I love it.
