These images are from the ongoing series titled: Offerings & Sacrifices - creating photographic images whose meaning transcends the original subject and encourages the viewer to see beyond what is depicted in the image - a concept known as 'equivalents'. On the O&S web site, the photos have been sequenced into 'Progressions', where continuing evolving pairs of photos encourage the viewer to see beyond what is depicted, best viewed on larger screens.

Born just outside New York City, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Design from the M.I.T. School of Architecture. While at M.I.T., I had the privilege of being a student of one of the founders of the famed Aperture Foundation, the renowned photographer Minor White, where I expanding my appreciation of photographic arts thru 'the art of seeing'. I moved to Canada in the mid 1970s to continue my architectural studies at the University of Toronto where I obtained a Masters in Architecture. Now holding dual citizenships, I frequently travel to cities in Mexico and Europe for my creative inspirations.
