Matthew Shaw

Ever since my career as a professional musician, I have always had a close connection to the arts and creativity. When I picked up my first camera and started photographing nature all around me, developing several hundreds of images at a time, I knew I found my calling. Since then, I have continued to learn about photography and its technical challenges and rewards.

I am always experimenting with my equipment to better understand how to manipulate each exposure for a unique perspective. With much of my formal practice and studies revolving around natural light, I am constantly looking for new clients and projects that will give me opportunity to use my lighting equipment.

With publications in central and southeastern Ohio, local enthusiasm for my current projects and the growing support for what I do, I am determined to strengthen my skills and expand my network to continue doing what I love.
