I've been shooting since I was 8 or 9, so for over 45 years, at this point. I started with a Kodak instant camera, and then moved to a Pentax K1000 35mm SLR, supplementing it with a Pentax ME-Super Program. That gear fell into a canal in Holland while on a bicycling trip there before I left Berlin, GE, while in the Air Force to return to the States, and I bought a Nikon N8008s.

I now shoot with a Nikon D850, D500, and still have a D300 and D700, along with over a dozen lenses. I shoot a lot of sports, including college football and basketball, but also trail runs, mountain bike races, and off-road triathlons. I shoot wildlife and nature, as well as landscapes, mostly for personal enjoyment. I don't make enough money to quit my day job, but I do make a decent amount from photography, and I enjoy it very much.
