I am SK BALACHANDDER,
Male, 59 years old, Post Graduate in Mathematics and an amateur astronomer once and Music critic.
Presently working in State Bank of India (June 2016 retirement) and also a Free Lancer in Photography doing various genres of Photography in my friends' and colleagues' Circles.
Photography has been my passion since 1980. I started with Agfa Isoly II box camera and Aireflex TLR camera. my first film SLR was Yashica FX 3 & FX 7. Later on, I moved over to Olympus OM 1N, OM 2N and handful of Zuiko Lenses. Then till 2012, for 25 years, I was a Nikonian with many film SLRs (FM 2N, FE 2, FX 70, FX 90) and Digital SLRs like D70,D200,D90) and various lenses used. Then I switched over to the Canon Pro gear with present set up given bwlow.
I use Elincrome FX200 & FX400 flashes for studio set up.
Life Member of Photographic Society of Madras, Federation of Indian Photography, India International Photographic Council.
Many acceptances Certificates Medals in National and International Salons in that period.
IIPC Bronze in 1993. AFIP in 2003.
Discussing and teaching Photography to the brethren in Photography since 1995. Never stopped learning for any tips even from a beginner since my contribution to Photography is only a tiny dot in this huge ocean of unlimited knowledge of PHOTOGRAPHY.
Main Interests: Street, Event, Portrait, contre-jour, Macro, Landscape, Studio, Wedding, Fine Art Photography.
My motto: Freeze every moment and enjoy it frame by frame.
