James Johnson

James is a Santa Fe based photographer. Each of the photos he takes tell a unique story, his approach is photojournalistic, he spends the majority of his time standing back and documenting. Although he loves to create fine art photography, where he controls the photo, he believes that lifestyle photography should capture the honest beauty of a life changing or defining event. His photos blend a ‘journalistic’ feel with the ‘fine art’ look to create a beautiful photo that can hold its own in a gallery, on your desk, or above the fireplace.

Whether it be a wedding, a graduation, an engagement, event, or party, each has a unique story to tell. James studied art and it is with that background that he utilizes color, composition, and light to create photos that you will cherish… almost as much as the memories.
