I was a graphic artist/designer for years. Currently an A/V tech for very large corporate meetings (projectionist, graphics, and switcher mostly). I've been taking pictures with a point & shoot/phone/iphone for a long time. Wanted more control so I recently bought a Nikon DSLR (D3200) with a 18-55mm kit lens. A week later I bought some old lenses ($45) and a tripod ($5) from a thrift store. I've been playing around, teaching myself and reading/watching anything I can find on the web.
