Of all the types of travel, landscape, nature, portrait and still-life photographs that I've made over the years, making pictures at home has become my favorite. My passion for capturing the everyday ordinary things began about a decade ago when a camera club competition judge accused me of wasting my time taking pictures of mundane objects. Sometimes the most casual or innocent of comments can inspire a whole new creative direction. Nothing is mundane with a camera in hand. My desire is to make visually interesting photographs with rich detail... images worth exploring all of their nooks and crannies.
