Avid amateur, 30 years with film, 15 with digital. After shooting a few weddings and corporate events decided it was too much work and not enough fun. A cheap SOB (once called a "marketing man's nightmare") I never but new gear but I've pretty much owned everything outside of large forma so I know for sure that it is not the camera tha makes better photos, but it can make it more interesting and enjoyable.
