Benjamin Schonberger

I am a Professional Photographer born & raised in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories Canada. This has given me a unique look at life in the high arctic and its challenging but stunningly beautiful environment, which has shaped life and culture in the north. I have been raised close to aboriginal peoples from the north my hole life and have grown a healthy respect & understanding for northern culture and history, well fully grasping the social and economic hurtles its peoples face integrating into modern Canada without losing their cultural identity in the process.

The challenge in my photography has been learning and experiencing in all genre's of photography, well not building myself into a comfort zone of my own skill base & experience. This has forced me onto a path of constant learning that takes me out of my own comfort zones daily which I hope will only force me to grow as a photographer into the future.
