Gerard Fay

With over 30 years experience working in traditional fine art, design and now digital fine art.
I worked as a photo-retoucher back in the 80’s and early 90’s before photoshop took the industry by storm. I worked on bromide and transparency using body colour and photo dye and applied using fine art brushes and traditional diffusion style air brush.

During this fruitful period I was working mainly for advertising clients in the UK and Paris I have worked on basically any product that appeared in press, magazine or billboard.

I specialise in watercolour and acrylic media producing portraits, landscapes and commercial Illustrations and have adapted those skills and experience into the world of Digital Art and I am now attempting to apply this to digital photo retouching.
