It’s been an interesting journey thus far. I began my creative career as a graphic designer and soon moved onto digital design with the advent of the internet. My interest in the digital realm led me to UI design and development and subsequently UX design and consultation. With all the successes and knowledge, a void remained. There was a creative need that wasn’t being fulfilled.
I’ve toyed with photography since my youth but it wasn’t until I fully embraced this art form that I truly found my creative space. All my former careers fueled this love for the visual, light, shadow and composition which all help me create the photos I capture today.
I consider myself an “interpretive portrait photographer.” I’m at my best when I can capture a moment…a fun smile, a mid-laugh grimace or any number of things that show the essence of who you are. The stories I tell because of you are a reflection of you…and sometimes, I get to see the YOU the world fails to see.
