Novice photog from 1975 until 1980. Began photographing Little league baseball. basketball, Community college football. after three years as a stringer on a local newspaper. I finally moved into the semi-pro bracket after eating remen and ritz crackers saving for a new vivitar 283 and a backup camera to go with my Ricoh. I puttered for a couple of years not pressing the issue until 1981 and started shooting weddings and events on a regular basis. dealt with a lot of cut throat penny shooters and wannabes. I finally gave my resignation in 1988 and went into graphic arts. I still shoot and maintain my credentials as a pro photographer. Occasionally accepting freelance assignments. Very happy at this point. would like to re-visit the western US and certain parts of Italy. Keep shooting. Once you look at the world through a swinger rangefinder "Life" is never the same.
