Chris Wade

Grew-up in Australia (Geelong then Melbourne), then moved to the UK in 1997. Married and living in South West London with four kids.

First camera was a Kodak Instamatic with its beloved 126 film cassette and terrifyingly expensive flash bulbs (but what fun!). Then got a 2nd hand Canon AE-1 with 50mm and 70-210mm lenses and well and truly fell in love with photography. Virtually lived in the school darkroom and photographed anything and everything, but most enjoyed sport... being Australia there was a lot of that! Favourite event was rowing.

Stayed with Canon, switching to the 10D in 2004 and through various upgrades to my current setup of the 5D Mk3 and 7D Mk2.

Still love sport photography, but also photographing my family and what they do... which has led me to do quite a lot of dance, drama and sailing photography (so far!).
