Lenn Long

Lenn has had a wide range of educational experience beginning with his degrees in both commercial photography and fine art.

In addition to his formal education, Lenn has helped organize speakers and other educational opportunities through his involvement with the Charlotte Chapter of APA (American Photographic Artists) as well as the Art Institute of Charlotte where Lenn serves on the photography program's Board of Directors Advisory Committee.

Lenn's work experiences are equally as diverse. He started in the turn-and-burn world of retail portraiture where customer service, keeping fixed costs down and turning volumes of customers are as equally important as the uniformity and quality of the product that's produced out of each studio. Today Lenn's single boutique studio setting allows him the freedom to create custom one-of-a-kind works that would never be able to be produced in a higher volume studio.

Lenn Long Photography specializes in targeting work professionals who need great looking professional shots for their public relations needs. While his second venture, PageantPics, specializes in creating portraits and event coverage for clients who are or have entered local, state and national level pageants. Lenn is the official photographer for the Miss NC Organization which is part of the Miss America system. In 2013 he was honored during the live telecast of the Miss NC Pageant as the organization's 2013 Sponsor of the Year.
