Alistair Boyd

Early in my career, I worked for a photographic equipment distributor in New Zealand. This exposed me to a wide range of professional photographers, styles, techniques, and more, and ignited a lifelong interest in photography that was further fueled by the introduction of digital technology.

I combine one of my other passions, travel, so almost all of my work revolves around places I've visited, including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, and the Middle East.

I use post-production very sparingly and in a limited way, as I still believe I am showing the viewer how it is not what they think it is. In my opinion, significant post-work creates an illustration of what has been taken, not how it was.

I have been experimenting with private jet interiors recently and adding dusk images as I progress.
