VueScan is a scanning program that is compatible with over 4600 scanners and is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

It is only available online, and can be fully tested free of charge before purchase.

VueScan has over 50 advanced features; including being able to output scanned documents, photos, and film in PDF, JPEG and TIFF formats. It can also recognize text using OCR and create multi-page pdfs using both flatbed scanners and scanners with automatic document feeders.

VueScan is easy to use for the beginner and the professional. Beginners only need to run VueScan and press the 'Scan' button, and can press the 'More' button to use basic options. Pro users can press the 'Advanced' button to unlock powerful features to have complete control over their scans.

VueScan supports older scanners that don't work on newer operating systems, including most Canon LiDE, Epson Perfection, Nikon CoolScan and HP OfficeJet scanners. Look to see if we have a scanner driver for your scanner.

Flexible licensing:
You can use VueScan on up to four different computers that you personally use, with any combination of operating systems, with any number of scanners, both x32 and x64, with a single license.

Standard Edition includes free upgrades for a year, Professional Edition gives free updates for life.
