Former journalist who sometimes used film cameras as a young reporter to make images to accompany his stories. After a long career in newspapers, mainly as an editor, I took up photography with a passion when digital cameras became viable. I started with Canon, experimented with Sony (discovering the importance of a sensor with wide dynamic range) and switched to Nikon four years ago. I tried all type of photography over the past 10 years but have settled firmly on landscapes. You don't have to talk to them, but they talk to you.
