Janos Lakatos

I am a choreographer, dance teacher and photographer. I learned photography in my high school years, but in that period of my life I was more driven towards the fine arts, witch I practiced for ten years. Later I continued to chase my passion for visual arts becoming a professional dancer and choreographer. Today, beside photography, I’m a teacher at the Hungarian Dance Academy. After 23 years of teaching and creating dance pieces, I had a vision to connect all my disciplines and experiences in photography again. I like to shoot on open locations and in studios to create something unique with the dancers, where composition, lights, movement and emotions are creating the magic together.
