I am very much a mega basic photographer.

Have been taking pictures since purchased a film OM1 way back when.

I think the term, "snapshooter" would probably best describe the style of my photography. It is only a pretty rare occasion to scout out a location and set camera settings in advance. However, with country landscapes, I generally know where I am going and take the appropriate body, wide-angle lens + zoom if applicable and naturally a tripod if taking end of day shots. Am past the stage of getting up at the crack of dawn to take morning type "golden hour" shots.
