Paul Hammond

I have always enjoyed photography as a hobby. Back in the early 1980s I had put together a gear bag based around a Pentax ME Super.

The genres that I showed the most interest in then, and continue to be interested in, are landscape, nature, wildlife, architecture, and travel.

I had quite a break from photography and in that period it became very much a rarity for me to undertake any more serious projects and the gear I was using became smaller digital cameras with limited scope. A couple of years ago I decided I had the time that would enable me to get more involved again. I purchased a Canon 80D. Following some good and encouraging feedback via Facebook, Instagram, and my Behance profile I am now looking to get back into the activity more seriously. Already I have had an image featured in a monthly magazine and I hope to go on successfully from there.
