Candace Hendrick

Hi, my name is Candace. Thank you for taking the time to glance through my work. I am sure you are wondering who I am. Well, I am a Christian, a Canadian, a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and crafter. I have a white t-shirt, cut off shorts wearing husband, and two daughters who from a distance look harmless and adorable but can be like little demons that love to disorganize and disrupt any and all household management duties. When their sweet, cute doppelgangers emerge I am there camera ready, snapping away. (So, suffice to say the majority of my experience comes from taking lots of pictures of them.)

I’ve loved cameras and photography ever since my parents broke out there Minolta SLR (film) camera and documented my little years. I have used all kinds of cameras from a Polaroid to Canon Rebel XSi (which I currently use). I can’t believe how quickly cameras have evolved since I was a child. (Maybe that just means I am old—is 30 old??)

In an era where almost everyone has a decent camera, not everyone has the time or knowledge to take photos that have a “professional” look. I am a hobbyist and I like being able to share my skills and abilities with others. I mostly take “life style” photographs, but have recently branched out to posed photos. I have shot a few birthday parties, weddings, and new born infants. I enjoy any and every chance I can get to not only to use my skills and equipment but also to expand and mature my skills as a photographer.
