Paige Nelson

My name is Paige and I’m an adventurous soul specializing in fine art portrait and wedding photography. San Diego is my hometown and I never tire of exploring the natural beauty this city has to offer.

I don't just do this for the love of photography...I do it for the love of people. I firmly believe the only way to tell a story, and tell it well, is to develop a real connection with the people you're photographing. My experiences have taught me that some stories are short, others are long. All are important.

After graduating with my journalism degree, I was sure I was going to be a photojournalist and freelanced for several local newspapers. It wasn’t long before I realized the daydreams in my head served as a greater source of inspiration and outlet for my art. Now strongly influenced by cinematography, my images often border the line between reality and dreamlike worlds. I'm also a contributor to Trevillion Images and Arcangel Images, both fine art stock image agencies.

In the rare hours when I don't have a camera in my hand, I enjoy reading, snuggling with kitties and traveling to new places. I also have a wicked sweet tooth.
