Philip Sydow

Philip is a commercial photographer, freelance writer, and editor based in Southeastern Virginia. His varied background spans work as a commercial model, writer, editor, NASA engineer, high-tech entrepreneur, teacher, and head of business development for a Fortune 500 security company. Philip graduated from Stanford University with a masters in engineering, an education he now enjoys applying to the many technical challenges that arise in the studio and on location.

He currently divides his professional time between his studio work and serving as the editor-in-chief for [RE]TOUCHED magazine, a role well-suited to his diverse technical, business, and creative skills.
