Just as there are people who like to watch soccer game and others like to play chess or basketball, I like to photograph!
I photograph because I love Photography and because it gives me pleasure to do it and not for any commercial interest or for any other reason of material order. I am an amateur and not a professional photographer.
I make a photograph to capture a moment, a light or environment, to tell a story with a picture.
I like to photograph people and dance photography, but apart from people, I also like to photograph buildings, empty spaces, volumes, lines, shapes, angles and sometimes I like to include the human factor. It depends on what I imagine, the image that I "see" in my mind. There are frames that I imagine that only make sense if there is an empty space, others in which a person has to be dressed in a certain way or simply be naked.
Another of my passions: country walks, lazing around Lisbon with my camera and off road trips. Beyond cultural enrichment and entertainment component, these activities are very useful for Photography because they are a way of finding interesting places to photograph.
My gallery in Model Society is a sample of my photographic musings, exposing my very personal way of looking. All models are my friends or people that liked my ideas and who agreed to pose for me in TFP (time for photos).
