Lis Beattie

I'm an amateur photographer, making do with entry-level gear until I can afford to upgrade, and suffering from constant gear-envy. I particularly favour wildlife photography, but I have gotten into landscapes as well, and I do a bit of candid work from time to time. Now and then I am asked to commit portraiture. Gear: Nikon - D3200, 18-55mm, 18-200mm, 35mm f/1.8 (DX), 50mm f/1.8, 70-300mm. Most of my work is done with the Nifty-Fifty or with the 70-300mm zoom. I also play with a Meyer-Gorlitz Trioplan 50mm (from about 1957) when I really want to challenge myself.
