Matthew Austin

I am a photojournalist living and working in Southwest Oklahoma. My employment in local news lead to an interest, and ultimately, obsession with photography that I indulge at every opportunity. My work allows me the ability to meet and engage with many people on a daily basis, as well as travel to many different places - all ample opportunity to further my craft.

I have no background or formal training in photography. All I have accomplished within the medium has been through luck, learning, and the willingness to experiment, instilling in me a passion that I will practice for the rest of my life.

Photography is something that gets in you and lives in your bones. And it has most certainly found its way inside me.
