Dirk Valcke

Born in 1970, i saw much of the digital revolution develop. I'm a self employed IT consultant for over 28 years specialized in IT Security and IT Architecture for big corporations.

My primary interest after IT and Technology is cars and track racing, recently (2017) combined with Photography and Videography.

Recently my interest in Photography and Videography picked-up again after I made some short films for a friend of mine, a GT3 race driver. We did a sponsor event for him, with success.
My rekindled love for Photo and Video got me on the GAS (gear acquisition syndrome) train quickly, building a bit of a set to use at race tracks and car events.

So, now i have collected about 50 vintage lenses, many of them great examples. Some bodies and a of modern lenses. Although I love the vintage lenses, having millisecond focus is a great thing!!

My main aim is videography on car and race events, combined with photography in all kinds and types.
