Spent 43 years working in IT whilst running a photography business alongside. Completed my first wedding in 1977, after being "thrown in the deep end" by my then girlfriend's father, who simply assumed that I could be the wedding photographer for his son's wedding! I recently gave up, with some sadness, my studio and shop, due to the professional portrait and newborn photography market being decimated by the ever increasing ability of mobile phone cameras.

I'm also interested in travel photography, but in reality only as a tourist, so it is more snapshots as opposed to serious travel and landscape work. For travel, I use a Fujifilm X-T2 or, most of the time, I simply use my phone for holiday snapshots. As they say, "the best camera is the one you have with you" and my phone is always in my pocket!
