Zach Deets

I'm an amateur photographer based in Oregon. I primarily enjoy landscape photography and am getting into portraits as well. I started out with black and white film photography and developing my own negatives and prints in the darkroom, back in the early 90s. A Grant awarded to my high school allowed us to procure Apple computers and very early Photoshop. Later, in college, I was able to put my Photoshop skills to work as photo editor of a small college paper. Then, life took over for a while (kids, work, marriage, divorce, marriage, etc) and I lost touch with my passion for many years. I returned to photography, this time digital, about three years ago and haven't looked back.
