The iPhone 5, 5s and SE was the last design reiteration of the iPhone before Steve Jobs passed away. It is reminiscent of the design of Dieter Rams and I truly believe it is the best iPhone yet. I can imagine Jony Ives and Steve Jobs around a table in the studio discussing every aspect of the design, each button and the feeling it gave when it was pressed, and how form followed function. It had no gimmicks. For me, the hard edges, the industrial look and the size is as close to perfect as I can imagine. Nothing beats it yet.
agreed, the 5 was the best looking iPhone, glad the 13 and 14 are more similar to it now
