Asakusa Senso-Ji temple by Night

We’ve covered Asakusa Senso-ji temple (also known as Asakusa Kannon temple) extensively in the past by day. Today however, we wanted to give you the chance to enjoy this gorgeous temple like very few people are used to seeing it, at night! While the temple’s main hall and other facilities are closed to the public after working hours, the temple ground is accessible 24/7. The grounds get a special treatment up to 11 p.m. with tailored lightning that, in our opinion, turn the whole area into a gorgeous mystical painting.
