PLATINUM PALLADIUM PRINTING : THE ART OF THE PROCESS

A year ago I visited a long time photographer friend of mine, Roberto Aguilar @photoaguilar, in London to experience first hand the unique and detailed process of platinum palladium printing. I joined him in his lab @rjprintlab and observed him over a couple of days as he printed two of my photographs using this intricate technique. These prints are very special because platinum and palladium are noble metals and are resistant to oxidation - meaning that they have the ability to last forever. In this interview, Roberto explains his passion for this one-of-a-kind printing process.
