5 Uncommon Landscape Photography Composition Tips

Composition is a tricky thing when it comes to landscape photography, where even subtle variations can make or break a photo. If you have been struggling with your compositions lately, check out this great video tutorial that will give you five unusual tips that will help you improve your landscape photos.

Coming to you from Mark Denney, this excellent video tutorial discusses five tips for improving your landscape photo compositions. No doubt, composition is something a lot of us spend our entire careers working to improve, and it can often be tempting to simply fall back on tried and true methods like the rule of thirds. There is nothing wrong with that to a degree; after all, they work for a reason. That being said, if you just stick with those, you miss out on the chance to create more subtle and interesting compositions and to explore your own creative voice a bit more. And don't forget that you can always explore new compositions in post. Check out the video above for the full rundown from Denney.
