Helpful Advice for Printing Your Photos

Printing your photos can be a tremendously rewarding exercise, but it is also an expensive venture, and as such, mistakes can quickly add up in cost. If you are new to printing your image, check out this fantastic video tutorial that features an experienced photographer sharing a range of useful advice to help ensure you get the best possible results.

Coming to you from Keith Cooper, this excellent video tutorial shares some helpful advice for getting the most out of your photo prints. As you will see, choosing images to print takes some careful thought. Just because a photo looks good on screen does not necessarily mean it will look good on paper, and if it does have the potential, you often need to perform some additional editing in order to prepare it. Printing often reduces contrast and color saturation, so you may need to boost those by a certain amount before sending it to the printer. Furthermore, sharpening often needs to be increased a bit as well. Nonetheless, when you get it right, it is tremendously rewarding. Prints of your work can be a great way to decorate your home and make wonderful gifts as well! Check out the video above for the full rundown from Cooper.
