TimeLapse Of Malaysia Is A Must See

Rob Whitworth has created this master piece of a timelapse with some really amazing camera movements and interesting perspectives, this video will not disappoint. The attention to detail, transitions, and the way he tracks motion truly make this timelapse stand out from the rest. Rob put a lot of thought in the video trying to show the transitions between night and day in this Malaysian city.

“My time lapse explores how the city changes from day to night highlighting how spaces dramatically alter during the course of a few hours”. This timelapse took 5 months and 400 hours of solid work. It took Rob 4 cameras,40 different shoots, 640 gigabytes of data, and 19,997 photographs to create ” Kuala Lumpur DAY-NIGHT”.

Beautiful. But it’s a shame not to have it accompanied by some kind of music from Malaysia that would help with a sense of place. That music works, yes, but it’s so generic…

Beautiful. What is the track name/artist?

A shame?  Music from Malaysia wouldn’t aid this in a manner that would give it a ‘sense of place’, if the Petronas Towers don’t give it a sense of place then I’m not sure what else will help you.
