We want to see your most unique photo edits
Welcome to the November installment of the Critique the Community! This month's critique theme is going to be "Unique Edit," and we want to see your best photographs that were brought to life with a new or unique editing style or specific editing software.
Photo editing has never moved faster. New apps, plugins, and AI tools seem to arrive every week, and plenty of photographers have developed manual techniques that give their work a look nobody else has. This month we want to see both. Your image could be finished with brand new software that creates a special effect or photographic style, or it could be an edit you built by hand using your own technique. Either way, we want to know exactly how you did it and share all the new and exciting editing tools the community is using right now.
This month's theme, "Unique Edit," is intentionally broad and open to any genre, so don't feel limited by what you normally shoot. Feel free to enter your best portrait, landscape, product, fashion, wedding, architectural, or conceptual images, so long as the edit is what makes the image stand out. There are basically no rules on what the image can feature so long as the post-processing is new, unusual, or uniquely yours.
The top 3 images will each win credit to the Fstoppers Store, which can be used on anything in the store:
Our elaborate and exhaustive photography tutorials not only help photographers immediately start taking professional quality images, but most of our tutorials also share business and marketing techniques that can help make photography a full time income. With genres like Headshots, Landscapes, Architecture and Real Estate, Fashion, Macro, and Product Photography, there is something for every photographer no matter what genre you specialize in.
Good luck to everyone who enters and we look forward to seeing your best "Unique Edit" photographs!
