Not planning on spending any money on new equipment but fancy experimenting with items you can easily find around the house? Here are eight simply camera hacks for you to try out in your next shoot.
Sometimes, all you need is a small trick to inspire you to pick up your camera and go experimenting. The beauty of photography is that everyone can find something suitable for them whatever their budget, and these few tips and tricks brought to you by photographer and videographer Oleg Kovalov Sergeevich will give you simple and cheap ideas that you can try out yourself at home.
I am always enthusiastic about inspiring people to try something new in photography without spending a lot of their hard-earned money because simple ideas like these will often get you thinking outside the box and looking for alternative ways to photograph the mundane life all around us. This is also a great way to spend time with your children and show them simple camera hacks that can transform the image through something as simple as placing a fish line in front of the lens.
Other ideas I've tried is using a cheap Bi-Convex lens that will let you experiment with a macro look but keep your spending under $10, using my mobile phone screen to create a reflection, placing a chandelier glass pendant or ring in front of the lens to create beautiful flare, and others. If you have any other ideas, please share with us in the comments.
