North Light at the tip of the breakwater on Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont. Taken in late December before the lake froze over when the air temperature was -15 degrees. Walls of steam from the lake created layers of deep gray and I put the lighthouse in the frame in such a way as to show how tall these walls of mist really were. I toned the image a bit cooler because it was so cold out that day.
