I shot this while I and my friend were driving from the Bodie Historic State Park to Yosemite. The clouds started to clear immediately after the rain stopped, and we got this beautiful rainbow. We took a lot of portrait shots with the rainbow in the background, but I thought the shot of just rainbow with green fields in the foreground could look very calm. I took this shot with a polarizer on to intensify those rainbow colors. This was a very simplistic composition, but it looked very pleasing to my eyes.
