I like the color gradient in the sky, but the bottom half of the image is kind of empty. Perhaps if you cropped off the bottom part of the image (to just above that buoy) you could keep the interesting curvy shoreline and the water, but keep the nice sky and profile of the hills.
My advice would be to use a tripod, and get a longer exposure. That will help you avoid the black featureless landscape.
