I think you have some good stuff going here, and I love the expression and gaze which makes me think about her and what is she thinking/doing. However that big red blob on the left is very distracting, especially with her wearing a red shirt also.

Love the red and love the eyes. The only distraction is the necklace. I would remove it. And I would patch up the little gap in her top left eyelash.
