That's some intense separation... Out of curiosity, what focal length is this? I love how it obliterates what otherwise looks like it would have been a very busy background.
I would love to know that too. I know my 100-400 can really blow out backgrounds at 400mm, but that is some serious zoom if so!
I like the shot. There are two things I would fix: The little bits of clothing on the model's right shoulder, and I would rotate the image counter-clockwise to align the model vertically.
