What's that white thing right below her left elbow?
I honestly don't know. There was a trail here, so I guess It could have been a sign I missed. Didn't really notice it till now.
The balance of the subject with the tree on the right and the light feels off. I think if you did a square or vertical crop with less of the right side of the photo it would be greatly improved.
I'm curious, do you think not having had the tree there with this same crop would have made it a better image Jesse Merz ?
Maybe, but then there would be lots of empty space on the right side. I think that might be the problem I'm having with the photo; the subject doesn't take up enough of the frame. I think the background looks nice but the subject is more important.
