A sea of bleached coral, covered in algae, on Maui. This went on for miles, a wasteland. There were also healthy corals elsewhere on the island, but this image stuck with me as unique and more powerful than the others. If anyone is interested in helping, make sure to wear reef safe, metal based sunscreen whenever you are in the ocean (even where there aren't corals)
