I like how you used the sun as a backlight, however, this looks like it could have been shot on a cell phone, it might be the crop - I can see this being rated much higher with a little different crop and a little more depth of color, something that was lost by shooting into the sun which I do all the time, love the look - but you lose so much saturation.
Original file is better, but definitely lacking in color rendition.
Probably the cheap-ass B-roll setup's fault.
Shot on GH3 and the 14-42mm lens.
