This is taken in Painted Hills, Oregon. Light this day was very frustrating. Too clear and harsh, but gradually a high layer of cloud pushed in and softened the sunlight. Later in the afternoon... this happened.

The colours play off each other wonderfully. There is such movement within the image with the highlights carrying your eye through the image. Well done!
