I want to crop the bottom 15-20% of this image off so the boy on the back isn't smack dead center. That's my personal preference though.
Yes I see what you mean, and I normally try to avoid centered compositions, but I worried that if I cropped the bottom too much I'd lose the tram tracks and the implied sense of movement.
It would be fun if we could post images in our replies. I'm drawn in by his look of ennui contrasted by the danger of what he's doing.
This is one of my favorites. I think the centered composition works very well here.
